Dear Parent/Pupil
Welcome to the June edition of The Aqua Academy News and welcome back after the half term break.
It has certainly been a busy few months at The Aqua Academy with the introduction of our Friday evening lessons at Great Baddow High School. The continued development of our Sunday morning lessons along with these new lessons has meant that we now have over 150 pupils on our registers. This would not have been possible without your continued support for which we thank you. I would also like to say a big thank you to all of our staff a big welcome to all of our new swimmers at both locations.
The Aqua Academy is now on facebook, pay us a visit and keep up to date by becoming a fan.
Distance Week – Friday 18th June (Great Baddow) and Sunday 27th June (Boswells)
Although we follow a process of continual testing for the majority of our awards, we do set aside one week in every term specifically for our teachers to test the distance ability of each child. This is a critical measurement in the ASA awards programme and therefore it is essential that your child attends their lesson on this week to ensure that we are able to complete the grading for each pupil.
Renewal Letters for the Autumn term will be available for you to collect from poolside on Friday 2nd July (Great Baddow) and Sunday 4th July (Boswells).
Lost Property
We have a number of items of lost property from our Sunday morning swimmers, please take a look in the lost property bag which is always on poolside if you are missing anything! (Any items not collected by the summer holidays will be given to charity).
